Honorary Professor at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh and visiting lecturer. Interests include professional practice, health and clinical psychology, well-being and happiness and public engagement with psychology.
A Past President of the British Psychological Society (BPS), having also served as Chair of the BPS Division of Clinical Psychology and Chair of the BPS Professional Practice Board.
Retired as Honorary Treasurer from the BPS in 2019 and as a member of the Board of Trustees.
A non academic discussion group for people with an interest in exploring day to day questions and issues about the world we live in. Although the perspective is Philosophy and Psychology, no prior knowledge is required - every opinion is a topic.
